Welcome

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakathuhu.

Welcome to the Website of Assalaam Foundation in Ueno, Tokyo. Assalaam Foundation is a non-profit, non-political, religious and educational institute. The purpose of the Foundation was to provide Dawah services primarily to the Japanese population while establishing a Masjid and a gathering place for all Muslims. We also hope to serve as a bridge between all the communities here in Japan to promote mutual learning and understanding, providing services to the Japanese community and bringing together all the communities in Tokyo city. Assalaam Foundation has established two separate entities that operate in the same building.

3.   Develop educational structures which are sensitive and appropriate for Muslims and their faith

4.   Provide Quran classes for children.

5.   Campaign on addressing issues articulated by citizens on Islam and Muslim welfare in Japan

6.   Spread awareness about Islam, Islamic History and its Culture

7.   Conduct daily congregational prayers five times a day

8.   We organize lectures, seminars and conduct classes for Islamic knowledge
